Kick Partner Program 2026: Requirements, Pay and Every Way to Make Money on Kick

September 25, 2026 8 minute read By , Talent Manager, GingerLive

To join the KICK Partner Program (KPP) you need, over the past 30 days, a verified channel, an average of 75+ concurrent viewers, 30 hours streamed, 25+ active subscriptions, 250 unique chatters, 3 VODs and 250+ followers, then apply by email or the Fast Track form. Partners earn stream revenue that scales with viewership and keep 95% of subscriptions and KICKs. Any streamer can unlock subscriptions after just 5 hours streamed, and can add sponsorships and in-stream ad networks on top.

First, "partner" means two different things on Kick

Kick's help center uses "partner" for two separate stages, which confuses a lot of new streamers:

  1. Entry monetization (subscriptions). Stream at least 5 total hours (they can be spread over several days) and you can enable subscriptions on your channel.
  2. The KICK Partner Program (KPP). This is the paid program most people mean when they say "Kick partner". Partners earn stream revenue based on their viewership, on top of the 95% subscription share.

The rest of this guide covers both, starting with the KPP requirements.

KICK Partner Program requirements (2026)

Per Kick's help center (updated July 2026), all of these must be met over the past 30 days:

RequirementThreshold
Channel verificationVerified channel, with About section and social links completed
Average concurrent viewers75+
Hours streamed30
Active subscriptions25+
Unique chatters250
VODs3
Followers250+

You also need to be in good standing with Kick's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, DMCA policy and partner terms. Kick is explicit that meeting the numbers doesn't guarantee entry.

How to apply

  • Standard route: email Kick's partner team from the email address registered to your Kick account.
  • Fast Track: creators with an established audience on another platform can apply at streamer.kick.com/partner via the Fast Track form. Kick says it responds within 24 hours.

How Kick partners get paid

  • Stream revenue. Kick says partner stream revenue is based on viewer count and "scales directly with your audience". Kick doesn't publish a public hourly rate card. Third-party estimates circulate, but treat them as unofficial.
  • Subscriptions: 95/5. A Kick subscription is a flat $5 a month and the streamer receives $4.75. Kick describes the 5% as a processing fee.
  • KICKs (tips): 95%. Viewers send KICKs in fixed bundles (1 up to 50,000). To receive them you need "Streamer status" in Achievements and a completed Stripe Connect setup.
  • Bounties, which are challenge-based rewards paid as gifted subs or KICK Shop gift cards.

Kick says the KPP has facilitated more than $400 million in creator payouts since it launched in 2024.

Rules that cut partner income

  • Multistreaming pays 50%. The KPP is non-exclusive, but multistreamed broadcasts earn half the usual partner income, and you must turn on Kick's multistream toggle first. Streaming elsewhere without it breaches the partner terms.
  • Demonetized categories: "Just Sleeping" and gambling content (Kick's ads documentation also lists Slots & Casino).
  • Removal risks: fake engagement (including buying your own subs), 90+ days of inactivity, and mirror, blank or pre-recorded streams. Appeals must be filed within 30 days.

Kick payouts: schedule and methods

  • Stripe only. All payouts go through Stripe to a bank account. PayPal can pay for subscriptions but can't receive earnings. If Stripe isn't available in your country, you can't receive payouts.
  • Schedule: verified streamers can choose weekly or monthly; non-verified streamers are paid monthly.
  • Timing: US ACH takes 2–3 business days, US instant debit arrives in minutes (up to $9,000 per payout), and international transfers take 3–7 business days. Kick covers the 1.5% currency conversion fee.
  • Thresholds: Kick notes that minimum payout thresholds apply in some jurisdictions but doesn't list one universal minimum.

What KICK Ads mean for streamers

Kick started running mid-roll ads in live streams in August 2026. What changes for you, per Kick's creator help page:

  • You see a countdown in your dashboard and can delay a break or trigger it early. You can't opt out of scheduled ads at this stage.
  • Your subscribers don't see ads on your channel.
  • Ads don't pay you directly. Kick says ads "do not currently generate direct additional payment". Partners are compensated through the KPP.
  • Your own sponsorship deals are unaffected.

Compare Twitch, which shares 55% of ad revenue with Partners (and with Affiliates who run 3+ ad minutes per hour). On Kick, earning from brand money means bringing it in yourself, through sponsorships or an ad network.

How to make money on Kick beyond the partner program

Kick's Terms of Service explicitly allow creators to run their own advertising and sponsorships. That leaves three proven income streams on top of platform payouts:

1. Brand sponsorships

Sponsored segments, product placements and dedicated streams pay the most per hour, but you need to pitch, negotiate and report. Our playbook covers what brands look for and what to charge: how to get sponsorships as a streamer.

2. In-stream ad networks

Networks place brand overlays on your stream and pay you a share of the advertiser's budget, with no pitching or invoicing. GingerLive works this way on Kick, Twitch, YouTube and TikTok:

  • Free to join. GingerLive earns from advertiser budgets, not from streamers.
  • Setup takes minutes: sign up with your Kick account and add one browser source in OBS or Streamlabs.
  • No interruptions: overlays avoid your gameplay and camera, and your stream never pauses for an ad break.
  • Live earnings dashboard showing impressions and revenue as campaigns run.

Because it earns per impression, it monetizes the hours you already stream, including before you reach KPP thresholds.

3. Affiliate links, merch and donations

These work on Kick as on any platform. Disclose affiliate links clearly, as Kick's guidelines require. For all eight streamer revenue streams compared across platforms, see how to make money streaming.

Sponsorship disclosure rules on Kick

If a brand pays you, Kick's Community Guidelines require you to:

  • Use Kick's "Branded Content" tool.
  • Show a visual disclosure (such as #Ad or #Sponsored, for example in your stream title) and give a spoken disclosure at the start of the paid segment.
  • Use plain wording like "Paid Promotion", not "Partner" or "Collab".
  • Disclose affiliate links clearly and conspicuously.

Sponsored gambling is only allowed for operators licensed in the relevant jurisdiction, and viewer buy-in giveaways are prohibited.
